Yesterday:
We made our way from Atlanta through some rainy weather down to Macon and then over to Savannah, where we ate lunch and spent the day on River Street on the Savannah River. We discovered a taste for grouper at One-Eyed Lizzy's. We had some fun shopping and looking at the Spanish moss in the trees in the old part of town. When we left for Hilton Head, we crossed over a massive span bridge that was like getting a thrill ride for free. It was WAY huge!
Upon arriving and checking in at Island Links Resort in Port Royal Plantation, we went to the beach to check it out, and we dipped our toes into the Atlantic. It was late, so the boys came back to the resort to swim in the pool here. We all were tired, so we ordered pizza, relaxed, and got used to our condo.
Today:
We slept in today, and then went to Harbour Town so the boys could parasail. They had a great time, and Pam and I enjoyed watching them. We then at a The Crazy Crab, a wonderful seafood place at the Harbour Town marina. After lunch, we shopped all the little shoppes there. We loved this area of Sea Pines Plantation, which is where the PGA holds the MCI classic golf tournament every year.
At 3:30 this afternoon, we came back to the resort and swam before going to outlet malls and shopped again! We were all tired again, so we brought back Wendy's.
